Extended family portrait session – North Reading, MA

Gathering three generations of a family together for a portrait with little and not-so-little grandkids, their parents, and the grandparents is no easy task. Just ask Kristin who contacted me back in December when she and her two sisters decided to gift a photo session to their parents. Not only did they all arrive on time, but they came fully prepared with snacks and beverages, including a giant bottle of bubbly. They also came with two dogs, one of which was brand new to the family. The grandkids ranged from toddler to college graduate (congrats, Michael!). The parents ranged from average height to super tall (hi, Nolan!). And the grandparents ranged from uber proud to mega proud (Flo and Bob, what a crew you have!).

Best part of the shoot? When the big moment to pop the bubbly happened before everyone was ready and they decided to re-enact it for posterity! Personally, I love the reactions on the first take the best.

What a beautiful family you have there, Flo and Bob! My goodness, the amount of fun and love was palpable. Thank you all for sharing your evening with me.
