What a perfectly lovely evening to be out at the local farm with these two grinning gals and their parents! When I first met this family, the littlest one was just turning one and wasn’t quite able to walk. Fast forward a year and the two girls are running and giggling together, checking out the chickens and the corn stalks (we made sure to steer clear of the wild coyote that a fellow farm-visitor pointed out!). The pure joy on their faces having spotted a butterfly was enough to make my heart sing. And I don’t think I will ever forget the little teacher/student session they had at the end where R was just instructing N what to do and N was complying happily. Having three sisters of my own and having two little girls, I admittedly have a soft spot for sisters. I see lots of silliness, joy, and heart-to-hearts in your future, sweet girls.
Andrea and Charlie, thanks so much for calling on me to photograph your adorable family! It is so wonderfully bittersweet to see how much the girls have grown.
