Whenever I see her in the neighborhood, there are usually about 10 other kids around and her little voice is drowned out by the buzz of the older kids. Here, at the beach, she could make her voice be heard. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen a “sand angel” being made. Her imagination led her to put sand “in the microwave” to heat it up for her pretend friends. She barely stopped long enough to feel the water, but once she did, there was no turning back. Little C, I loved getting the chance to hear your voice and see your beautiful spirit. Can’t wait to see your little personality grow even more in the coming years with all the littles in our ‘hood.
