I couldn’t be more tickled to hear from a lovely family I met for the first time last year. Baby A’s tiny newborn size was emphasized even more when Grizzly jumped up on the bed (he’s a Bernese Mountain Dog). Now, a year later, he’s still small but he’s definitely gotten bigger! He’s on the verge of walking, trying to test out his legs when he’s feeling so moved. And he seems like a master observer – he takes everything in, considers it, and then, and only then, reacts to it – on his own terms. Grizzly loved exploring this beautiful park, too, taking no time to discover the puddles of mud or sticks to play with (and snuck in a kiss for little A here and there).
Rachel and Drew, thanks so much for the chance to see A again! He’s adorable and you guys seem like you’ve been doing this for years. Hugs to you all.
