In those first few weeks with a newborn, so much of the attention goes to every single move of the baby: the squeaks, the stretches, the tiny grasping hands, and the immeasurable amount of cuteness that you just have to stare at. Sometimes, it can feel like half a day goes by before you have a chance to have a bite to eat, or brush your hair, or try to have a conversation with your spouse. But it’s with good reason – this little one stays this little for only so long. And so it was with Marissa, Kolea, and their new adorable baby. They were incredibly focused with their minds as well as their hearts: they both helped to change her diaper, both helped to soothe her when she was fussy, both couldn’t quite get enough of her; and rightfully so.
