This little guy taught me something very important that I will pass on to my children: the coffee dance. Yes, that’s right. Every time his mom or mama said “coffee” he broke out into a dance that involved a little knee bending and head bopping (I, for one, definitely feel like coffee deserves its own dance move). It was amazing. And so were his parents. This was a rescheduled session due to inclement weather (seems to be a pattern on weekends around here lately) and as it so happened, we got light showers through most of this session but no one seemed to care. They were all happy just enjoying each other, the flowers, the lush greenery (thanks to all of said weather), and the coffee dance. Little O was quite the cute attraction, receiving so many friendly waves from the park workers and field-tripping students that I thought maybe he was running for mayor.
Elizabeth and Kristen, it was so lovely meeting you all. And while I can totally relate to your wish to keep him small, I can tell you that the fun is just beginning (as are the challenges). Hold him tight as long as he’ll allow!
