[one_half_last]Back by popular demand! Before school is out, carve out a couple of hours for yourself to learn more about that awesome camera you own (and find out what all those buttons and dials can do for your photos).

Do you have a DSLR camera but aren’t sure what settings to use to best capture your kids’ smiles? Is it collecting dust because you feel like your iPhone is good enough? Maybe you just want to be better equipped to take a photo for your holiday card? Don’t let all of those toggles and options scare you away from using it!

This 2-hour beginner class is designed specifically for moms who love to take photos of their littles and want to increase their knowledge of photography. All you need is a DSLR camera and the desire to use it more often and with more confidence. You will walk away feeling equipped to utilize some of the built-in tools to better capture those fleeting moments that you cherish with your family.

Bring a friend and make it a night out for learning and fun (feel free to BYOB)! In this intimate setting, you will learn about the various settings on your camera as well as the basics of exposure, lighting, and composition. With some hands-on practice during class, you will be able to see how your photos change as YOU control your camera. Those little beings you love oh-so-much just keep growing, so be sure you know how to freeze the moment so that years from now, you can laugh or cry (or embarrass your kids!) as you reminisce.

Testimonials from previous students:

“I thought the class was really great. I thought the price was a bit steep when I signed up but I thought it was WELL worth it after taking the class. I learned so much in two hours. It would have taken me weeks or months to read the camera manual to learn what was covered and that would have not even covered lighting and composition. Stephanie did a phenomenal job teaching and explaining things with very good examples.”

“Class was smooth with great flow. Each topic built on the previous one. Loved the instruction on improving my photos with light and composition. Very helpful to actually have time to utilize the camera after instruction for each topic. I found the individual instruction especially helpful… The class was great!”
