Family portrait session (Michelle, Nathan, & M) – Cambridge, MA

Imagine having a newborn and then you are told that you have to move out for lead abatement for a couple of weeks. That includes moving out ALL of your stuff, because, you know, lead. And then you move back in. Then you are told that they are redoing the plumbing and again, you have to move out for a couple of weeks. This is what Michelle and Nathan have been dealing with all while trying to start their new chapter with their precious baby girl. They seem to be the roll-with-the-punches kind of people, and that’s exactly what they did during this session which was marked by high humidity and heat. Little M didn’t seem to notice, though, as she looked super sweet and happy, especially once she got hold of her toes, which apparently were very tasty. Hey, it’s the ONLY time in life when nibbling your own toes is perfectly acceptable and cute! Munch away, I say.

Michelle and Nathan, thank you so much for the chance to meet you all and photograph your sweet girl. I hope all of the moving in/out is done and you are feeling a bit more settled. Sending you wishes for lots of baby snuggles this summer.
