Family portrait session (Sarah, Mike, W, & V) – Lexington, MA

Each time I see little W and V, I am amazed at how much they have changed since the last time I saw them. Little W was so much more chatty and outgoing compared to last time. Sweet V was walking and running this time around, her hair has grown longer, and she is holding her own when it comes to determining what it is she wants to do. These little kiddos are growing into their own personalities and keeping their steadfast parents on their toes. They are loved unconditionally, as they should be, and it makes me so happy to see them all year after year.

Family portrait session (Lynn, David, A, + W) – Brookline, MA

Did you know that a photo session can also be your work out for the day?! Big brother LOVED the openness of the field so much that all he wanted to do was run. And run. At one point his dad actually had to sprint after him as he had strayed a bit too far. No matter how far he ran, or how steep the climb, he just kept smiling as he ran all over the place (his dad, too). Little brother, not quite used the feel of grass under his toes, tried to keep up and did a decent job despite his fairly new walking skills and uneven ground. Their beautiful mama (in a gorgeous dress!) relished in her boys’ happy squeals as they were tossed in the air. This adorable family was so much fun!

Family portrait session (Ashley, Stefan, W, & W) – Wakefield, MA

What a fun morning hanging out with these two kiddos and their parents! Little W just turned one-year old and is doing his best to keep up with his big brother (except when big brother is under the table and doesn’t want to put his shirt on). The relatively warm-ish morning meant that we started off outside with jackets on but after just a little bit, we all found ourselves enjoying a little sun without all the layers. We started in the back yard and then off to the playground we went! The brothers had a blast at the park – up the slide, down the slide, to the lake, check out the ducks, back up the slide, and back down.

Ashley and Stefan, what a joy to see you all again! Thanks so much for sharing your morning with me.

Newborn session (Liz, Kristoff, J, & A) – Newton, MA

Just over three years ago, I was in the same house, meeting this lovely couple who had just had their first baby. She was beautiful and sweet, and she didn’t care much for having her photo taken that day. Fast forward to today and that little baby is wholeheartedly embracing her new role as a big sister. Baby A is just as adorable and sweet as she was. And perhaps it’s the calm that comes with having a second child (vs. a first) or perhaps it’s the presence of another little being that reassures and comforts, but little brother rocked his photo session like a pro.

Congratulations again, Liz and Kristoff!

Newborn session (Krissy, Steve, & C) – Stow, MA

Stanley was acting more like a guard dog than anything, unsure of me and my gear, and protecting his family perhaps with a little more fervor than before seeing as there a new little one at home. Baby C arrived a little earlier than expected but seems to be settling in quite nicely with mom and dad. Her super cute and cozy room is filled with her aunt’s hand-crafted decorations and custom-designed mural. Both Krissy and Steve are taking it all in, admiring their sweet girl and every little squeak and yawn.

Congratulations, Krissy and Steve! I’m thrilled and humbled that you thought of me to document the beginnings of this new chapter.
