Senior Portraits (Josh) – Rye, NH

So there I was, telling this high school senior a story about how, at 3-years-old, he didn’t like anything to be floating around the pool (noodles, inflatable toys, etc.) for fear of it going in the filter. And then it hit me – that’s how old *I* am. Yikes.

More importantly, Josh is now a high school senior who spends an inordinate amount of time in the pool on two swimming teams. He’s been exploring colleges and thinking a lot about the future ahead of him. His easy-going demeanor and ability to chuckle at some really bad jokes made this session a breeze. We also took the opportunity to get a few of him and him sweet mom, Alisha, together. Josh, I wish you all the best in this milestone year of high school. By all accounts, you have a bright future ahead of you! Alisha and Glenn, you should be quite proud.

E’s senior portraits – North Shore Area, MA

How can she be so elegant and poised at such a young age? It was a true pleasure meeting lovely E along with her support team (her sweet mom and older sister). She has her senior year ahead of her and after that, so much opportunity. For now, she’s hunkering down with 5 AP courses and a whole host of extracurricular activities. With all of those responsibilities on her shoulders, the value of a fun shoe is not lost on her. She was ever so excited about these shoes so we just had to have a little fun along the way. We found all sorts of great spots on location at her family home which makes these portraits carry even more meaning in the years to come.

Wishing you a world of success your final year of high school and beyond, E! Thanks to you and your mom for the chance to photograph you for such a special milestone.

Senior session with Regan – Gloucester, MA

Regan came armed with her sweet mama and her darling sister. Mama provided some guidance while sister provided some comic relief. And Regan provided her beautiful smile and calm nature. She talked about jumping hurdles (literally, that’s one of her sports) and working at the local farm stand. These two girls and their mama were unknowingly sweet with one another. They seemed to have the kind of dynamic that exists between most moms and daughters at this stage – and to me, it was all endearing. There’s something special about being a senior – teetering on the edge of being mostly independent and yet still finding a lot of comfort at home. Regan, I wish you all the best this year and in the future with whatever hurdles you may jump.

Senior session with Grace – Rockport, MA

What a treat to meet lovely Grace. She is a stunningly beautiful girl with a bright future ahead of her. We met at the beach in Rockport where she spends the summer with her family. There were so many great little spots to explore and it was easy to imagine how much fun it would be to spend summers there each year. Grace, thank you so much for the opportunity to meet you and hear all about what the year ahead has in store for you! And to your parents, congratulations on a job well done.
